The comprehensive refurbishment of Herrerías stems from a unique challenge: to incorporate an indoor swimming pool and integrate it into the day-to-day life of the home. The integration of the decking, the drainage solutions and the connection to the kitchen and dining room were all considered together to create a wellness area that forms part of the home.

A glass partition, with panels that slide to one side, allows spaces to be joined or separated whilst maintaining visual continuity. The skylight shared by the swimming pool and the dining room opens this space up to the sky, whilst the plant-inspired wall coverings and sandy tones complement the presence of the water. The kitchen, with its light wood finishes and a large white island, continues this warm and contemporary aesthetic.

A project in which technical solutions and attention to detail transform an unusual idea into a personal way of living.
